Changing from D-2 to D-10 after graduation
Want to look for a job in Korea after you graduate? Here is when to apply for D-10, the documents you usually need, and what changes after you switch.

After you graduate from a Korean university, you can change your status from D-2 (student) to D-10 (job seeker) if you want to look for a job in Korea. This is a change of status (체류자격 변경), so you must apply before your D-2 period of stay ends.
Do you need the points test?
Many D-10 applicants must pass a points test. If you graduated from a Korean university, you usually do not need it. Rules can change, so check the HiKorea guide for your case.
